Job Summary
We seek an exceptional Chief of Excellence (COE) from a top strategic consulting background to spearhead our FMCG Business Unit's Center of Excellence within a prominent Indonesian conglomerate group. The COE will drive commercial capability enhancements, process improvements and people development across B2B and B2C operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement commercial strategies: Enhance commercial capabilities, processes and tools to drive business growth.
2. Process optimization: Streamline and standardize processes, eliminating inefficiencies and improving productivity.
3. People development: Design and deliver training programs to upskill teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
4. Best practice sharing: Identify, document and disseminate best practices across the organization.
5. Stakeholder management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners and senior leadership.
6. Performance metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure commercial effectiveness.
7. Innovation and digitalization: Identify opportunities for digital transformation and innovation.
8. Change management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation.
9. Knowledge management: Develop and maintain knowledge repositories for commercial excellence.
10. Industry benchmarking: Research industry trends, benchmarking best practices.

Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or related field; MBA from a top-tier university preferred.
2. Experience: 10+ years of strategic consulting experience from top-tier firms (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain).
3. Industry expertise: Deep understanding of FMCG industry and commercial excellence.
4. Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders.
5. Communication: Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
6. Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
7. Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
8. Change management: Experience driving organizational change.
9. Digital savvy: Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
10. Language: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Nice to Have
1. Certification in commercial/business excellence (e.g., Six Sigma).
2. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean).
3. International work experience.
4. Professional certifications (e.g., CMC, CBAP).
