Key Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Relationship Management – Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, media, and business partners.
2. Public Relations & Corporate Communication – Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance the company’s public image and reputation.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Policy Advocacy – Ensure company compliance with local and international regulations while influencing policies that impact business operations.
4. Crisis Management – Handle external crises, media inquiries, and public issues that could affect the company’s reputation.
5. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability – Lead CSR initiatives and sustainability programs that align with corporate values.
6. Government & Industry Affairs – Monitor and engage in policy developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes that could impact the company.
7. Internal Coordination – Collaborate with internal departments (legal, marketing, HR) to ensure alignment in external communication and policy positioning.
Requirements:
1. Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
2. Experience – Minimum 8–10 years in external affairs, public relations, government relations, or a similar role.
3. Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of government policies, regulatory frameworks, and corporate communications.
- Excellent negotiation, lobbying, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to manage media relations and crisis communication effectively.
- Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of business and policy landscapes.
4. Certifications – Relevant certifications in public affairs, corporate governance, or communications are a plus.
5. Soft Skills – Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and networking abilities, with high adaptability in a dynamic environment.
